Lydney Partnership board members

The board is a committee of management, or directors, who have to be members. They do not need to have any official qualifications, but are simply elected by their fellow members, with half of the committee up for election every year.

To start off with, board members were appointed to set up the organisation and prepare for the first elections and AGM.

Vote for the directors later this year – or even put your own name forward! As the Partnership was only set up in late 2002, the first set of elections will take place in 2004 and all 12 places for the committee will be up for election. Get ready to send in your nomination paper (it comes with the next member newsletter) – all members will be asked soon if they wish to help run the Partnership over the next year! Look out too for the AGM to which we would like to welcome as many members as possible.

The current shadow board, which is in place until the first elections, is working on the Partnership's future business plan.  This includes setting priorities for delivery projects, so we can start making real progress in achieving your vision for the Lydney area.
