Status: Ongoing
Lydney Dock was reopened in July - after the Environment Agency's two year project to restore and enhance this historic landmark. Read more ››
St Mary's Halt Footbridge St Mary's Halt Footbridge
Status: Ongoing
This cast iron lattice footbridge at St Mary's Halt was opened to the public in September 1892 and is Grade II Listed building in desperate need of restoration if it is to stay open to the public. Read more ››
Lydney Docks Footpath Lydney Docks Footpaths
Status: Ongoing
With the regeneration of Lydney Docks it was felt by LAiP that people would like to enjoy some short walks using the public footpaths in the area. The result is sure to attract many more people to the area. Read more ››
Lydney Festival Lydney Festival

Creating a festival of music, arts and sports to encourage participation of residents of all ages. It is hoped this will improve local morale and confidence by encouraging participation and a carnival atmosphere. Read more ››

The Vibe Youth Cafe will offer young people a place for relaxation, for meeting friends, for acquiring new skills and for receiving, if needed, advice and guidance on a range of issues. Read more ››

Lydney Riverside Walk Lydney Riverside Walk

Fairtide Recycling Fairtide Recycling
Status: Ongoing
Fairtide Recycling - integral to Social Services' Fairtide Centre in Naas Lane - a thriving project providing work for 26 people with learning disabilities as well as recycling facilities for the community and products for local businesses. Read more ››
