Guide to downloading Lydney Partnership documents

We offer documents for download on the site wherever possible. They will generally be in the PDF format. This stands for 'Portable Document Format' and is associated with Adobe's Acrobat Reader. This free program can be downloaded here.

The PDF format is the standard for documentation or artwork presentation. It is ideal for printing and due to some of the formatting of documents for download here, it is often advisable to print downloaded documents.

Many modern browsers have this programme already in which case you need do nothing. When clicking a link to a PDF document your browser will usually open Acrobat Reader within the browser (as apposed to giving you the choice to either save to disk or open directly) and then load the document within that. Then you need only wait for it to download; you will then be able to save it via the Acrobat Reader toolbar.

It is often desirable to download large files (rather than view them immediately) if you do not have broadband as they can take time to complete. If you wish to bypass automatic Acrobat Reader launch and viewing, simply right-click on the download link on our page and choose 'Save Target As' from the menu that appears. You will be able to specify where the PDF document is saved and can then view it at your convenience.

You are welcome to download offered files for your personal use but please be aware of our terms and conditions.

If you have any downloading or format issues please don't hesitate to contact us.
